2015After 3 years of a degree in Fine Art – and a year of Foundation Art & Design prior – I am finally finished and ready to showcase my work, along with work by the rest of my classmates, in our degree show. My latest photographic series ‘Unnoticed’ is on display from Friday 5th June (6 pm to 9 pm) to Saturday 13th June at the Art College, Belfast Campus of Ulster University.

2015Masterpiece paintings, including two Rubens, from the Beit Collection are to be auctioned in London to raise funds for Russborough House, Co. Wicklow, Ireland – where the paintings are situated. You can sign a petition (which I did) to halt the sale of these paintings so that they remain where they are in Ireland.

2015My commissioned drawing ‘Annaghmore Football Club’ was up for auction, amongst many other lucrative items, in the Gala Ball at the Glenavon Hotel, which was part of Annaghmore’s centenary celebrations. The night was a great success, with over 450 people attending the event and the auction raising a lot of money for the football club.

2014In my practice I use a variety of mediums to make art and I wanted to create an image that could illustrate this. While experimenting with ways to combine drawing and photography, I created this self portrait which seamlessly unites the two. This artwork is an example of the endless possibilities that art has to offer in our modern digital age.

2014I have just completed my latest, and largest (20 inches x 20 inches), commission which I named ‘Bovine Intervention‘. My customer’s choice of subject matter was inspired by the work of the Irish painter, Eoin O’Connor. He has painted several close-ups of cows which create a very unusual, yet interesting, perspectives that enlarge the nose and head of the cow and miniaturise the cow’s body into the background. These cows are conveyed through cartoon-like forms and vibrant colours resulting in very striking pieces of art.
